BOT 1101 - PLANTS AND SOCIETY
PREREQUISITE: ENGL 1411 or equivalent placement. Laboratory course emphasizing scientific inquiry through a breadth of selected concepts using plants as the study organism. Concepts include cell and molecular biology, plant structure and function, plant genetics and heredity, evolution, and ecology. Biological issues with personal and social implications will be clearly integrated throughout the course.
