CHE 1102 - GENERAL CHEMISTRY II
Prerequisite: CHE 1101 or consent of the Dean, ENGL 1411 or equivalent placement
This beginning course provides a broad overview of organic/biological chemistry to the same student population as CHE 1101. It is concept-based and covers hydrocarbons, halides, alcohols, ethers, carbonyl groups, carbohydrates, organic acids, ester, organic nitrogen compounds, lipids, amino acids, enzymes, nucleic acids, digestion, body fluids, energy, carbohydrates and metabolism.
