CNS 1212 - MICROCOMP HARDWARE/OPERATING SYSTEM
PREREQUISITE: CSCI 1101 or Consent of the Instructor
This course will address the nomenclature, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Windows operating system as well as familiarize the student with the technology, maintenance and repair of microcomputers. Malfunctions will be diagnosed to the board level. Computer architecture will also be discussed and examined. Elements of the CompTIA A+ exam will be followed throughout the course. The class offers a balance of lecture and laboratory time.
