CNS 2200 - EMERGING TECHNOLOGIES
PREREQUISITE: CNS 1221 or consent of instructor. This course investigates Voice Over IP (VoIP) and emerging technologies. Standards, similarities and differences between traditional telephone networks and IP Telephony, call set-up, equipment selection and installation will be covered. Students will have the opportunity to work on functional VoIP equipment and virtual machines. The course will offer a balance of lecture and lab experiments.
