CRJS 1204 - COMMUNITY POLICING
This course emphasizes developing the interpersonal skills needed to build good relationships with all those the police have sworn "to serve and protect." The course looks at individual projects and programs, including those which involve coordinated efforts of the police and the community. It discusses past successes and failures and emphasizes using a problem-oriented approach to fighting crime and delivering services.
