CRJS 2205 - POLICE WEAPONS & DEFENSIVE TACTICS
This course examines the various defensive weapons and tactics available to police, correctional and private security officers. Basic training skills will be taught using a variety of firearms, batons, flashlights, handcuffs, chemical agents, etc. The course will include an in-depth analysis of the current legal guidelines for the proper use of force when dealing with a dangerous or potentially dangerous adversary.
