ECON 2101 - PRINCIPLES OF ECONOMICS I
Prerequisite: MATH 1407 with a "C" or better, ENGL 1411 or equivalent placement
A course designed to introduce the student to economics and the analytical concepts employed in this discipline. Topics covered include the various sectors of the economy and their contributions, national income accounting, causes of cyclical fluctuations in the American economy, government fiscal policy, money and banking, monetary policy and basic demand-supply analysis. The emphasis is on macroeconomics.
