EMTP 1260 - PARAMEDIC SERVICES I
PREREQUISITES: Current Illinois EMT licensure, successful completion of EMT 1250 and CPR certification.
This course is designed to build upon the skills acquired during the EMT 1250 course. Information provided deals with emergency medications, airway maintenance, treatment of trauma and decision-making during emergencies. Students will obtain experience in starting intravenous lines, administering medications and nebulizer treatments, drawing blood and performing intubation.
