HECO 1202 - HEALTH CARE TERMINOLOGY
This course introduces students to the principles of medical word building in order to develop the extensive medical vocabulary used in health care occupations. Students receive a thorough grounding in basic medical terminology through a study of root words, prefixes, and suffixes. Anatomy, physiology, and pathology diseases are also discussed.
