MATH 1130 - MATHEMATIC FOR ELEMENTARY TEACHER I
Prerequisite: MATH 1403 or MATH 1407 with a "C" or better or equivalent placement
Topics include problem-solving, set theory and Venn diagrams, data collection and analysis, probability, number theory, nondecimal number systems and mental and electronic computation. It is designed to prepare prospective teachers for contemporary math concepts presented in elementary school textbooks.
