The course assists new and potential supervisors in the analysis and solution of problems encountered by a contemporary supervisor. For experienced supervisors, it serves as a valuable refresher course. Topics covered include delegating authority, planning/time management, giving directives, introducing change, supervising protected groups, work group dynamics, performance appraisal and budgeting.
