POLI 1101 - STATE & LOCAL GOVERNMENT
Prerequisite: If reading review course is required, the student must complete PREP 1404 or be concurrently enrolled in ENGL 1411.
The structure, function and operation of state, county and local units of government are studied. Contemporary problems are given special attention, as well as Illinois politics and its constitution. Office holders will be used to emphasize practical applications. Successful completion of this course is evidence of having passed the State and Federal Constitution test.
