Prerequisite: MATH 1401 or equivalent placement
A course primarily offered for students who plan to pursue the business curriculum in college. It is a problem-solving course with emphasis on improving skill in the fundamental processes of math as used in business. Included are such topics as percentage, simple interest, compound interest, annuities, payrolls, taxes and deductions, discounts, depreciation and installment sales.
